In football if a player is running towards the end zone and he has a safety chasing him, can the persuing player stick out his leg and trip the lad in front of him? ALSO Is there any time in open play if a QB or RB for example, could just kick the ball at goal for 3 points or something? Can the kick the ball up field and run onto it? Needs to be in the American football category, not Australian Football But I would say there would be no tripping allowed

Don't kick like Karmichael Hunt!

dunno

Hi my nae is Wayne and I'm an ex AFL Umpire. 1:First of all NO player can trip another player at all and if they do its a free kick. 2;Any player can kick a goal if they are in the field of play but normally its up to the QB or RB. 3: If a Player kicks the ball from the centre he may follow the ball up field, but also if they are not part of the centre then NO they normally don't follow the ball like the wingers nor the full backs. I hope that answers some of you questions for you . Thanks Wayne Riley
