You know what really bothers me, that day games are on the decline. Essendon and Geelong only play 3 day games this whole season. It is just stupid. It wasn't that long ago that all matches were played on a Saturday at 2. On average next year each club will only play 6.5 day games (Day games range from 12 - 2:40). They are also upping the amount of twilight games. The next thing Andrew Demetriou will do is change the AFL grand final to Saturday night.

It's ok, I am still shocked Collingwood are going to play at Etihad round 1 (hosting fremantle, so more like a freo home game lol) to answer your question there round eyes, the point of it is to make money. I respect cricket as much as the next bloke, but it's undeniably behind AFL in terms of dollars (like it or not, it will all boil down to that in the end)
