You should know this mate, the match committee is generally made up of ex players who sit in a room and basically pick the side each week, the Coach is in there, sometimes the Captain of a club, Captains are at lower levels but not so much at AFL level although they might be asked advice from time to time about certain players and give some feed back to coaches etc, nowadays it's all different, match committees might include assistant coaches etc, you get the general idea.
The coaching staff who choose who will be selected in the side for the week's game. Generally including most of the senior members of the football department - coach, senior assistant coaches, etc.
