Private Lessons Private lessons are also available and are good for many reasons but are more costly per hour than the group class.
Below are common reasons that people enroll in private lessons:
1. Acquire a base of skills and confidence before you enter the group judo class
2. Practice in a super-controlled environment at your own pace
3. Develop strategy for your specific body type against trouble opponents
4. Get the extra edge in training for a tournament you have coming up.
5. Understand judo applications as they apply to other combative situations such as BJJ, no-gi fighting, self-defense or police tactics.
One hour private lesson (one person): $150
One hour semi-private lesson (two people can share cost): $160
