i.e. US, IC, tag team, etc champions being after thoughts when "major" feuds are created to build for PPVs?
IC championship has 7 random people in a ladder match.
US championship has been treated as a stepping stone "easy" win for main eventers
tag team matches is the same thing every single week. as if there is some rule where there can only be 3 teams working on tv.
and nobody cares about the divas....
IC and US titles need to be unified ASAP. you're totally right about the IC title. it's completely meaningless. look at all the PG era champs (and even farther back then that too). their careers went nowhere after winning. it's just a jobber title.
US title is similar, but to a lesser extent. it's been better at putting guys though. unifying them both and making it mean something is best for business.
tag champs is a weird case. it's proof that the champion makes the title, not the title making the champion. the tag division has been dwindling for years now (over a decade actually). it doesn't mean much because there aren't many tag teams that are good and/or entertaining. so when the Usos (the John Cena of the tag divsion) wins every match it's like who cares? but it's even worse than the problem with Cena because they have no high caliber opponents.
and yeah no one really cares about the diva's division. that's partly the writers fault though. they have talented divas who can hold their own against some of their male counterparts but creative continues to give us the mediocre wrestlers as eye candy *cough* the bellas *cough* so yeah, it's hard to believe the Diva's title is a legitimate one when there are at least 5 divas who are without question better than the current champ.
