I remember like yesterday the previous night Eddie Guerrero had a match with JBL who is now a commentator but at the time was a fulltime wrestler.And during the match JBL hit Eddie with a really hard chair shot in which busted Eddie open pretty badly and they thought he could of died because the shot to the head that he took but they later found out that he had drugs in his system and had bad heart.
Eddie Guerrero had a heart attack and probably had hypertrophy. Don't go blaming somebody else. RIP Eddie G.

I'd say the best way to say it is that Eddie's past drug and alcohol addictions caught up with him. read his autobiography Cheating Death Stealing Life The Eddie Guerrero Story. Eddie wrote the whole thing himself and it is VERY honest.

Apparently you don't realize that years of Alcohol Abuse, Recreational Drug Abuse, Performance Enhancing Drugs, working out all you life can add up to damage to your heart and one day it just gives out. Just ask Brian Pillman? Oh that's right you can't ask Brian Pillman because he died in his sleep as well.
Eddie Guerrero died of heart failure.
