What are the names of Native American martial arts?

First they tell us we have Native American horoscopes......now we have Native American martial arts?

We call them "fighting". We don't have fancy names for them. They are survival skills, not hobbies.

Apache knife fighting is simply "surviving a knife fight".

Oh, and btw...if you are googling this subject and come across some guy named "swift deer"? Yeah, he's a complete and utter fraud, and has been sued by many native American tribes.

not all styles have names. they more likely just called it fighting and the name of the tribe or something to that effect.

this can be found in many cultures this way. karate was originally this way until the 1900's before that it went by the city name which covered about 20 styles or more. muay boran goes by regions even though there are multiple styles in that region. the same was true for old styles of european fencing arts most of them had no name and it was refereed to as fencing. and the list goes on from there.

i agree with Asdzání, i doubt they used actual names. was more likely they said he fights like x tribe or y tribe.

'Murica Folkstyle.

I think I heard it called Imamuckyouup snow flake once a long time ago.

It's just fighting, or wrestling in there respective languages.

idk but i just wanted to say if we didnt have guns we wouldnt of took anybodys land

So I have been looking for awhile the names of martial arts that were used by the Native Americans that might still be in use today. I would like to know their traditional names like what is Apache Knife Fighting really called? I would love to have some feed back on this.
