Mma gym that doesnt sparr?

Ninety dollars per month for only two classes per week is a little steep unless you live someplace that has a high cost of living like New York or maybe California. As for sparring that is sometimes rushed or overly relied on and so I think you should base that question on some of the other folks who have been their longer and what are their skills and ability like. I say this because some schools rush beginners into sparring too soon and too early and before they really have the skills needed. Those beginners then form a lot of bad habits in their sparring and will quickly flounder usually when faced with someone that really knows what they are doing or someone that is really tough in their own right.

If the skills and ability of those that have been there longer are not much better than your current skills and ability as a beginner then that should tell you about the quality of the training everyone is getting. At a good school or gym more experienced people with good training will often have to hold off some when sparring and rolling with beginners so as to not quickly overwhelm them. Then when they spar and roll with other experienced people like themselves or those with even more experience and skill is when they can really push and challenge themselves. But yes, sparring is necessary in my opinion to be proficient in any martial art and especially any fighting art.

It isn't a real MMA gym. Real MMA gyms will be open at least 5 to 6 days a week. They will also spar everyday. Usually around 70% of practice is pure sparring. Knowing a technique and applying it are two different things. A way to see if its Leget is a good MMA gym will have active pro fighters with positive records.

Sparring is essential for any combat sport as to practice is for any other sport such as basketball or football. At my gym we usually spar all the time sometimes we have light sparring which is just light tapping and other times we go all out with full gear though so it's almost like an actual match with head gear, gloves, mouthpiece, and shin guards. You can ask your instructors if they offer sparring sessions though I'm sure they might tell you yes.

If you don't spar very often, it may be because the instructors don't think you're ready to spar yet. Most MMA gyms have regular sparring sessions for all members unless the members say they only want hit the bags. Sparring should be a regular part of MMA training.

No sparring makes it a bad MMA gym nuff said

90 $ / month!? Are you crazy? They aren't just ripping you off, they are literally bending you over the table and ramming you in the @ss.

Unless you haven't guessed it, I think you should leave.
