Reigns is getting pushed, while Ambrose seems stuck in the mid-card.
Personally, I think Dean Ambrose has what it takes to be a top guy, WWE creative just doesn't know what to do with him or how to handle him properly. Reigns just needs to work on his character is all. He needs to show a little more depth and a few more dimensions. He's too close to being a generic "tough guy". WWE needs to provide him with a chance to add more to himself.
By WWE's presentation, yes, Reigns is a bigger star than Ambrose, but by my definition, no. I see them on somewhat of an equal ground. Ambrose has the charisma but lacks the opportunity, where as Reigns has been given opportunity but lacks certain character development. Ambrose should have been given more, and Reigns' unfortunate hernia caused him to not get developed further before his big break; he got pushed during his recovery absence, which was weird. Not his fault, though.
The only reason Reigns is a bigger star is because WWE has built him to be one.
Reigns is overrated
he's presented as such- yes, think dean is more other with the crowd though
