I want to know how to fight...?

Hello my friend these people are telling you to train first off il give you a few pointers because most likely your schedule wont allow you to jump in and start training. I DO NOT ENDORSE VIOLENCE DO NOT FIGHT.

Fight 101

Stance you should have your hands up in loose fists until you throw a punch your arms should be close to your body with your elbows covering you underarms (hurts if you get hit here) and knuckles either at eye level or chin height about 1 fist width away from your face. Your feet should be shoulder wide and having you back foot(right if your right handed) slightly askew to the right. Knees slightly bent and facing slightly diagonally so you appear skinnier then if you were standing straight on. If they Hit you hard and your feeling like your gonna go down but your not giving up open up your stance a bit so its wider to balance you and breath out a little tightening your stomach for every hit you take. Chin should be slightly downward so you don't get disorientated if you get knocked there.

In these fights make sure you either punch/strike with an open palm unless you have a strong properly handled fist (look up how to curl a fist because even at 16 people have misconceptions) Open palm strikes are pretty much handled like punches except try opening your hand and tucking in your thumb just throw these upright toward there noses or sideways toward there torso. If your 16 you should know how to jab, cross, uppercut and hook at least a key thing to do is to relax your muscles so your arms move faster then tighten up just. If you don't have martial arts experience the only thing i would suggest doing is a knee kick straight up with your toes pointing downward if he gets in real close or a low round house kick(look this up)

Blocking a kick is relatively easy if its below your waist level watch your groin incase of a dirty kick. if it comes straight on (the kick) bat it away with your hands so that there back would be exposed punching now is a good opportunity. if it comes at the side of your leg just lift your knee your shin will protect you. if its above you can just swing your torso so that your parallel arms push it aside (same with punches). If these guys have no fighting experience they will most likely not really know how to react at all try hitting a punching bag if you have one. If your attacking them don't just do 1 jab or uppercut do 3-5 all fast before you back off again i don't agree with fighting but if there not gonna stop hitting you walk away.

Finally if you can get them on the ground you will be in power catching a kick and forcing them off balance will do this. If your on the ground i advise you to roll to the side if there trying to punch you and get up quickly.

You should almost never be in the situation to have to fight so don't fight. 9/10 times you can tell someone and solve your problem even if its embarrassing. Tell them to back off and walk away but ever let someone attack you from behind we have a word for that in my language its called jerk my language is english :D good luck and i hope you never need it.

Join a martial arts gym.

If you want to fight do boxing or Muay Thai. but if you want to learn a self defense system that will enable you to defend against bigger people, weapons, multiple attackers, life or death situations, then learn wing chun, Krav Maga, aikido, karate, etc.

Since you mentioned your small, you should do either aikido or wing chun as it teaches you how to defeat the largest of opponents

join a martial arts gym but choose one that suits you the most it may take some time to find the right one but its time well spent

Take martial arts

Boxing is great... I've spent a few years learning different martial arts. boxing is great if you want to learn how to defend yourself . And it's not as hard to learn as various other martial arts. It will also keep you fit

Take a martial arts class.

Believe me...5'8 is not that bad. I'm only 5'6.

Yeah join a gym and learn martial arts. MMA, boxing, muay thai, bjj and so on. Pick one. What's in your area?

Go to a freaking gym. What's so hard about that?
