There was proof that both her and her teammates Yang Yilin and Jiang Yuyuan were underage (journalists found their birth certificates saying that they were all actually 14 and 15), but the Chinese government gave the International Olympic Committee their passports which said they were all 16. Given the circumstances before 2008 Olympics in which Yang Yun who competed in 2000 and won 2 bronze medals, came out about competing at the age of 14 in her Olympics, I find it hard to believe that China didn't do the same thing in Beijing. Another thing that was overlooked was that when a rule is broken in gymnastics, the country is ineligible to compete in gymnastics at the Olympics for two Olympics (it may be more), so China shouldn't have even been able to compete in 2008.
yea men, sad thing is that i really think the chinese government dopes these little girls, maybe put something in their food and drinks... how do u not expect these girls to win if they are training 24/7 and that's all they know? the chinese prob forged their birth certificates too, just like this dimbo Obama did... and the international community can't say she-it about this cause china will just raise interest rates cause they are the world's bank... if china cuts back on 1% of their production, this world would go hiatus

I thought she looked very young in 2008. She had the body of a child. No hips, no breasts, etc. Now, after watching her in the Olymipcs this year, she now has boobs and hips.
The minimum age to compete in gymnastics is 16. So if she was 16 in 2008, she has since gone through puberty. What girl starts going through puberty after age 16?
IF she was 16 in 2008, that would make her 20 now. But now she looks about 16. I think she was 12 to 14 in 2008.
Does anybody have any facts about this?
