Who makes more mma fighters or football players?

Football either American football or any other type. The top earning mma fighters make around $400,000 a fight and have around 1-3 fights a year. The average professional mma fighter not in Bellator or the UFC and are just in some small pro organization makes around $2,000 per fight and fights around 3-5 times a year depending on their schedule. So as you can see there are a lot of pro football players making much more than that. Here's a link saying the pay day of the last UFC event, even it wasn't a PPV fight so the main event fighters made a bit less than they would if it was PPV.

I'm nit sure how much MMA fighters are laid but I'd imagine they are paid significantly less than footballers. Liverpool striker, Luis Suarez is paid £120,000 per week! I doubt you can name anyone else who can make that in a week.

Footballers are paid a set amount, whereas fighter earnings depend on their form, so hard to tell.
