I think there's some disillusionment with the league and its running. It isn't just here. Crowd numbers at games are down and so is the viewing audience in both free to air and pay tv. As an example, look at Dugan and Jennings. Both virtually kicked out of their clubs because of off field incidents but both straight back into the game with new clubs. I could be cynical and say that if NSW didn't need a good centre and fullback would they have been allowed back so soon?
Many Aussies are getting sick of the antics of Rugby players. I realise it is a neanderthal sport,but surely there are a few brain cells amongst the bum sniffers? :)
Not sure but the ways NRL finals are decided on Refs mistake maybe is turning the fans away to AFL or other sports. Plus, I am not sure whether it's only me or not but I am really angry at NRL for many reasons, most specifically allowing troubled players to leave clubs and join clubs the next day without any consequences, pretty much its like they own NRL.
