Head trauma is proving to be far too devastating to ignore... Helmets simply do not provide enough protection because they can't... It's just too violent to play.. unless you don't mind losing your mind as you grow older... Seriously. Don't play full contact football. or Box
Follow your passion if u will be committed and are willing to take a hit then by all means play but if your not 100% dedicated u might as well just not play but if it is just for fun and you're scared to get hit play flag there is nothing wrong with that
