Just ignore them. There's not much else you can do, unless you wanted to lie about it.

Tell ya mates to jam it and support whoever you like, yeah my young bloke lives in Manly-Warringah but is a staunch NQ Cowboys supporter has been since they entered the comp, but he has never been to Townsville, follow who you want mate !

Your suppose to support your local club im From melbourne i go for storm But i lived in Bankstown NSW for 10 years and my whole school/area supported the canterbury-bankstown bulldogs Your a cowboys fan dont be a trader though

If everyone went for a NSW team then there would be no national competition. Tell the naysayers that barracking for teams is what the competition is about. Quite often people change allegiances when their top players switch clubs. Sticking to state teams is old fashioned ....and even though "the Fatty Vautin's" in the commentary world say they go for Queensland or NSW, it's funny how they still have a soft spot for other clubs based in Sydney. It works both ways.
