Flankers are normally the faster and fitter ones in the scrum and should therefore be first to the ruck trying to turn over the ball. When it is your opponents scrum you should be ready to charge down the fly half as soon as their scrum half passes it. Especially in their own 22, try and charge down the fly half so he can't clear it by kicking it. Also watch to make sure the scrum half doesn't run with it himself and it is your job to tackle their number 8 should they do a number 8 pick up and go your side. With the ball you are just the same as any other forward. Just hit contact and try and break as many tackles as you can. Don't try anything to fancy like trying to gas it around their players or trying a sidestep. Just try and make a few yards by bashing through. Hope this helps
