Checking out some of the teams, it doesn't look like any of the Italian side were actually born there. In fact, take out the NRL players, NSW and Qld Cup players and there is'nt a lot left. No, too many Islanders wanna play for Australia rather their countries. Aus continue to pick NZ players in their teams. RL is pretty much dead in Europe except for England unlike Union (believe it or not even some mid east countries e.g UAE, Iran, heck even Afghanistan are trying Union), so it's actually continue to expand. Nothing exciting about it because only 3(Aus,Eng and Nz) teams have a chance of winning and others to get smashed. Soon or later RL may even die out in Italy and France
