Probably just Monfries being suspended. Hopefully that's the worst that could possibly happen to us in all this.
It depends. If he had the prohibited substance before he joined Port then the most that could happen is he is suspended. That would probably be Port's penalty, losing the player. If he had the subtance while at Port, the same as above. However under Article 11.2 of the WADA code, if two or more players from the one team are caught out then the team can be suspended as well.
Port can't be punished for something that happened elsewhere and that they had no control over. That's just a basic principle of law. Monfries could be punished and that would have an effect on Port of course. Of course all that stuff is "IF"
No problems for Port as far as a fine or draft restrictions are concerned, however Monfries would be in strife
