Interesting scenario..... Mr D backs Evan's on content of phone call &says Hird has an incorrect version. But Hird's version might stand the club, players &himself in better stead over the current allegations and possible penalties. Now Evans has shot Mr D in the foot with his resignation and Evans night just become the fall-guy. Could be a smart move.....

There have been to many fall guys already at the Essendon F.C. The 3 top brass have gone which only leaves Hird, Bomber then the players. Funny enough that Jobe Watson got himself injured so he cant be pestered by the media anymore. so there are more cards to fall just yet. is my bet. What AFL player would be injecting diretics into their body anyway. this is the part of the story that stinks like dead prawns that have been left in a wheelie bin for more than a week. Cheers.
