I'm surprised by Kev and Yahoos answered to be honest, especially yours yahoo, you're a Collingwood man mate, you should of heard of Ronnie Richards, of course not as famous as his Brother but none the less still played for Collingwood. In fact he played in that '53 premiership side with Lou. Yep very sad, but death comes to us all, 85 is not a bad innings, feel for poor old Lou, watching him on The Footy Show the other night he looks like he's lost his marbles, sad life ends this way for many people.
Im with Kev never Knew the man Until I had a beer with him at the 1990 gf I was surprised because to be honest I never knew of him Untill Max Richardson lent over and whispered in my ear It was at the bbq in the car park at the mcg Funny how things go Nice bloke cheers
I don't what to say shifty...I read the story last night and while I was reading it, I was thinking about Lou. Lou is the one I know of.....and not Ron. In-fact, I didn't know Lou had a brother. I'm sure Ron would be greatly missed by all....and not only Collingwood FC and it's supporters.
