The best team in the NRL ever would have to be the South Sydney Rabbitohs because they have won the most competitions (20) But I would definitely say Melbourne Storm have been/are the best team in the NRL for the last 5 years. Although its hard to compare teams from different eras because training methods improve as does diet and also the pace and strength of the game.
