I watched both games, we were soundly beaten, it favours the Irish way too much, their goals, )plus our behind post added), their ball which they kick like out blokes kick a Sherrin, their field dimensions, mainly their rules, but they added the mark and tackles, big deal, I'd like to see the series played with a Sherrin, see how close they'd get to our blokes then, it's not as stupid as it sounds, our blokes don't kick a round ball and it's the biggest advantage the Irish have over us. I've watched every series since the inception which began around 1984 give or take a year, our blokes used to belt the crap out of them and they threatened to go home when they toured Austraila. Sooks.
Watched the first game. gave up trying to watch the second. The AFL are talking about sending the ALL Australian team they select over to play the Irish. good luck with that one i say! Cheers.
I don't see the point either. I was in Ireland a few years back and they showed as much interest in it as I did.
