Port have mainly lacked the confidence in the forward line needed to convert marked set shots into goals as they are undersized and relatively inexperienced. The biggest cause IMO though is the lack of inspiration through their old coach Matthew Primus, his poor coaching venture was highlighted by clangered attempts at contested marks. Hopefully Ken Hickley can rev up a new wave of inspiration among Port. With that said they have some very strong marks of the ball including Travis Boak, Brad Ebert and Hamish Harlett.
