Best fullback ever is a call between Silvagni and Scarlett - I'll give it to Scarlett because he almost re-invented the position (not that Silvagni didn;t do his share of revolutionising) Best Ruckman ever - hard one. Scott Wynd was awesome but I actually think Dean Cox is right up there. EDIT - You're right G'Man I was confusing him with Scott. My apologies (but Lockett was just a big lump who needed the ball kicked to him :-) ) Dunstall over Ablett. Dunstall was harder working, more professional and more of a team man. Ablett Snr was prone to lazy games. The other two are also rans compared to those two. Ricciuto was probably the best of that breed - the big midfielder type. Hird was completely different and was a tall, mobile utility - great in his own right
Hird just from Voss, then a fair gap to Riccuito and Buckley Ablett, best player I have ever seen, from Plugger, the King and Dunstall. Best I've ever seen was Simon Madden, Cox would be the only player who would come close. Geoff Southby was the best full back I've ever seen, how Silvagni was picked ahead of him in the team of the century is a joke, Southby never had to grab players by the jumper like SOS did. edit: Quandary, Michael Tuck was not a ruckman and Lockett an also ran! Pleeeeeease!!!
