Which is more lethal and practical for self defense? Wing Chun or Tang Soo Do?

Well i havent spared with wing chung practicioners but i have spared with taekuando and shotokan that mostly the same as Tang Soo Do

i wold guess that Tang soo do practitioners wold have the upper hand in a mid quarter combat, yet Wing Chun is a close quarters art,

good bet an experienced wing chun martial artist wold be great in close quarter, but a tang soo do martial artist wold have a small advantage been the case that this art is proficient in joint locks, short kicks , short punches and counter attacks.

i wold give my money to a Tang soo do fighter

Wing chun has more specialization in close quarter spaces where kicks and punch at long range don't quite fit. Chinese Southern military often face themselves fighting on boats so spaces aren't too available. That is not to say Tang Soo Do doesn't work in close quarters. It does. There's brutal things you can do in close quarter with it. Though fighting in that close space is not its main purpose.

Which is more lethal and practical? You're not always gonna be in close quarters. There are sometimes attacks you can prepare for and can strike pre-emptively. Things outside or closer than close quarter are important as well. Gaining space is an important aspect, if you want to survive. Even in close quarter self defense cases, you would neutralize but then make a run for it too.

Close quarter is not self defense completely. According to Murphy's law, anything you don't learn will pop up and sabotage you. You shouldn't style hope but just looking into one range is misguiding.

It depends on teaching, instructions, school. Not the style.

as a tang soo do practitioner i can think of a few kicks and pressure poits if we lock up for up close i dont know as much about wing chun but i do know that tang soo do is influenced by the Chinese arts so we might know so of the things theyd do. im not sure whitch is better id think if those sticky hands are effective theyd be good for up close

The one that with the better instructor. You have to be careful with wing chun in the USA though, but if you find one it will be good. Either will work fine. If you enjoy one more than the other, do that one.

Wing chun, which specializes in no frills close quarters fighting.

Looking at the replies, I would say that people who do martial arts are really thick, can't spell, can't construct a sentence properly and should go back to school. Fighting is for losers, and that's what you all are.

wing chun is def the one, especially for close quarters

How is your surgery eye goes?

A gun is the most lethal and practical, but only cowards use them. Stick with Taekwondo if you want to be a man.
